Allandel Acoustic Doors
Allandel Class A, E and B fire door, 44mm thick, complete with MDF face finish (or a veneer of your choice) and hardwood timber edging. Doors to be supplied with a minimum of 4 heavy duty fire rated stainless steel hinges. Matching steel frame, made of 1.6mm thick pre-galvanised steel, complete with 30mm wide by 48mm deep rebate, complete with 5 fixing lugs of nominal size of 340mm x 30mm x 1.6mm to each side is to be provided. Door set is to provide 60 minutes stability, 30 minutes integrity and 30 minutes insulation and be supplied in accordance with the tested prototype and is to fully conform to SANS 1253:2016.
NOTE: Where double doors are specified, valid testing of double doors must be verified by supplier / manufacturer.
NOTE: The installation of an acoustic door is critical to ensure acoustic values are maintained. Frame contact to gain maximum effectiveness of seals. Floor threshold must also be level for seals to engage without air leakage.
Profile pre-galvanised steel 1.6mm thick for Class E, A and B or timber frames, nominal 90 x 65mm up to 2400mm high x 1150mm wide for Class E and single doors.

5 Lugs (double for 230mm wall) to each side, equally spaced and 4 Lugs (Single) to the head, equally spaced.
